My work leans towards architectural elements. Moving to South East London by the Thames I became inspired by giant structures on both banks along the Estuary. By means of black and white photographs and traditional darkroom techniques I recorded and screen printed these structures and have watched them fall into disuse, redundancy and to disappear. So some of these enormous structures remain just as memories and prints! The silk screen process provides me with the solidarity of the main image but also allows me freedom to overlay and underlay colours/pastels,spray inks etc. thus making a series rather than an edition.

In a lighter vein the lampshade prints, again from photographs, are beautiful and elegant making softer images in comparison to the Estuary work.
